The Grobda tanks first appearing in Xevious as enemies. They could only move forwards and backwards and detect when you're targeting them and dodging (speeding up or slowing down) to avoid getting destroyed (the phase 2 version of the Grobda tank dodges by flipping horizontally). It won't attack you (but the phase 2 version does in Xevious: Fardraut Saga on the MSX2), and it's worth a variety of points depending on the situation and skill with which you kill it. Later in 1984, the Grobda tank is the main protagonist of the Grobda game. Tts only appearance as a heroic character, its goal is to kill every enemy tanks, Furossas, and a fortress in all 99 areas in the game.
